Table runner is made using a "French General Range" of fabrics by moda.  A couple of months ago we had a workshop on "Working with Curves", we used the templates by Matilda's Own - this meant we could rotary cut out all our pieces.  Have you ever used the Curve Master foot?  Just great!!!  No more pinning.  No more clipping seam allowances.  Packet includes snap-on foot to fit most machines.  If you wish to see a demonstration just google "curve master foot" and you should be able to watch a video.  Some of my ladies marked the 8 inch drunkards pieces into sections with a blue wash out pen- this made it easier for them as they kept having a 1/4 inch overhang when they would sew the seam. All they had to do was match the dots - saved a lot of unpicking.
