Christmas is just Around the Corner.....

I have also just finished "Christmas Bob Bon" by Hatched and Patched.  I really enjoyed making this weekend project - it is still raining here and I have had plenty of time sew !!!   The garden is growing fast but just to wet to weed at this stage. We will have kits ready the same as our sample - the bob bons would make great Christmas gifts for all your family and friends - just fill them with your favorite chocolates or toffees.     Happy Sewing

New Shop Sample

Just finished making "Tally" by Melly and Me - so cute.....  I will have to make another one for our little Emilie.  At the moment we are busy cutting up some kits.  If you would like the pattern - give us a call or place your order on-line.

"My Garden"

Today I have finished block four of  Lynette Andersons - "My Garden" block of the month, I am really enjoying these small stitcheries - I can complete each stitchery within the day and have each block well and truly finished before we receive the next pattern each month.

We have had so much rain here in Warwick, the garden is growing so fast and I our grass has not been this green in years.  As soon as it fines up I will post some photos of the garden. Percy and I do not have enough time to keep the garden to standard we have had in past years, but it is still very nice.  In the mean time I am enjoying my sewing time as it is too wet go outside.  I have completed some new samples for the shop which I have enjoyed making - usually my days consist of book work!!!!!  Happy Sewing!

Happy Birthday

My wonderful friends celebrated my birthday with me on Thursday.  Kanita's daughter-in-law made me this beautiful cake and she also made little cup cakes with the Breast Care Ribbon on the top of them.  I am so spoilt!!!  Thank you to all my friends,  I value your friendship and support.

If you have some spare time, please look at Gina's Blog  -  "Top That" and you will see all the amazing cakes she has made. The "Make-up Case" is one of my favorites. I still have not been able to cut my cake .....   just to beautiful to eat - I am sure Jack and Lachlan will help me next weekend.

 

Meet Our Grandchildren

Our son Nathan and his partner Christie had a baby boy - Born 16th September                weighing 6 lb 14 oz. His name is Will Hunter Pugliese.  Photo to the left:  Jack nursing Will as you can see Jack has a good grip on Will! Lachlan is sitting very patiently as the grandparents take more than our fair share of photos.

Jack three  and half and Lachlan nearly one. The boys came down the coast for a couple of days with us while we were on  holidays. 

 

Emilie is nearly 5 months old.
